CONGRATULATIONS LORI!! Your website is stunningly beautiful, delicious and very inviting. You've built a marvelous community where people can share their treasured memories.
I can't wait to send you my mom's index card recipes in broken English mixed with Polish. During her lifetime, my mom prepared thousands of wonderful meals for our small family of 3. She rarely used recipes but when she went out of her way to jot some down on her 3 X 4 index cards, I KNEW they were very special. And now with her having passed almost 3 years ago, those index cards are my most treasured memories I have of my mother. By scanning and retrieving her hand-written words, her broken English way of writing (3 kups krem chis) I will be reminded that her spirit and love continue to fill my life. Thank YOU Lori, for helping us to hold on to those we love!

Thank you for such a kind message. I truly appreciate it. What a lovely message about your Mother. We are so happy here at Recipe Runway to help you preserve those treasured 3 X 4 index cards. Loving recipes like I do it would be a treat if you felt like sharing one of those rare cards from your Mother here on the forum. How fun to see her broken English way of writing. WOW!! That's so cool. I'll be GLAD to share one of my mother's index card/broken English recipes with all the RecipeRunway subscribers. I'll set aside some time to send in my package for scanning soon!
